Located just 30 minutes by car from Marrakech, you will find more than 4000 meters above the mountain ranges measured at sea level of the High Atlas with the impressive summit of Toubkal at the height of 4167 m. A fascinating and original mountain region that offers many more highlights than its majestic peaks. Our trek through the fascinating natural and cultural landscape of the High Atlas takes us on ancient mule trails through spectacular rock formations and picturesque Berber villages at the top of Jebel Toubkal..

Day 1 : MARRAKECH-IMOUGHLAD

9:00 am Transfer to our starting point in Tamadout (47 km), where we meet our team of muleteers and cooks. Then we start our trekking tour. Crossing the Berber villages of Imahdane, Imsker, we reach the BourBour pass (1600 m), then we descend to Imoughlad. Night in a Berber house. Walking time: 3 hours


 




 

Day 2 : IMOUGHLAD-TAMSOULT

About Passe-Takht (2100 m): Beautiful view of the Azaden - valley on the Berber villages Id Aissa, Tahliwine and TiziOussen we arrive Tamssoult (2350 m). Night in an inn (or tent). Walking time: 6-7 hours





Day 3 :TAMSOULT (2350 m) - REFUGE NELTNER (3200 m)

On a mule track, it takes around 4 hours to climb to the summit of Aguelzim over 3,600 m. From the top, we have a fantastic view of the summit range of the highest part of the Atlas Mountains. Then, it follows the descent to the Neltner refuge at 3200 m altitude. The rest is used for acclimatization and rest for tomorrow's summit stage—night in the cabin (or tent).

Jour 4 :Day 4: D JBEL TOUBKAL - REFUGE

Early in the morning, we start the ascent to Toubkal. Depending on the weather, it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit (4,167 m). However, the climb is usually not challenging, and you do not need any special equipment. After a break at the top, descent to the Neltner hut. If you do not have ambitions at the top, you can take a short hike in the hut area— night in the cabin (or tent).

Day 5 :IMI N'TAMLILT-AREMED-IMLIL-ASNI

Departure to the maraboutSidiChamhrouch, then down via Armed to Imlil. Lunch in Kasbah Toubkal and Transfer to Asni and installation in Kasbah Tamadot. Walking time: 3-4 hours

After discovering Tangier, the city of artists, we will head for Chefchaouen, the fortress with blue houses. In the heart of the Rif mountains, we will begin a 4-day immersion hike through the sea of forests of Talassemtane Park with its astonishing biodiversity. Majestic cedars, magnificent pine forests, impressive deep valleys, and breathtaking views of the nearby Mediterranean will delight lovers of nature and wide-open spaces. Beyond the sumptuous landscapes, the discovery of the local culture and the human wealth of the Rif will satisfy lovers of unforgettable encounters.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Tangier

Arrival in Tangier. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Then guided tour of the medina, the Kasbah, and Marshan. Guided tour of the essential sites of Tangier. Stroll through the heart of the Grand Socco or grand souk, between the old and new medina, whose enormous SidiBouAbid Mosque dominates the colorful market.
Discovery of Marshan, an extension of the Kasbah to the city center. Here, such famous monuments as the Hafa Café, the Forbes Palace, and the Royal Palace are concentrated. The district's charm lies above all in its old residences; its narrow streets are adorned with large trees, which give the city an extra touch. (3h30 visit). After lunch, free afternoon. If flights arrive in the evening, the guided tour of the Tangier medina will be organized on the morning of Day 7.

Day 2: Tangier -Tétouan - Chefchaouen

Arrive in the blue city in the afternoon. It is located at the foot of the Kelaa and Meggoudjebels which form a strange horn. The fortified city of Chefchaouen, initially a starting point for attacks against the Portuguese, is a veritable labyrinthine fortress. To explore the city with its charming blue houses is to accept getting lost, but no doubt that you will find yourself in this maze of charming alleys! Stroll in the city's heart, then visit the ethnological museum of Chefchaouen housed by the Kasbah of Chaouen dating from the 15th century. Discovery of the famous art collection and handcrafted pieces from northern Morocco (rugs, hardwood paintings, etc.). Do not hesitate to take the time to chat with the artisans. Day 3 :Chefchaouen - Mechkralla - Tissouka - Affaska

We start our hike towards the village of Mechkralla, passing by the Spanish mosque from where we can enjoy a superb view of the entire city of Chefchaouen. We then continue to the village of Tissouka, where we can enjoy a pleasant tea with the locals. Then a nice climb to the TiziMandu pass leads us to a pleasant little place ideal for a picnic. After lunch, we descend through a beautiful forest of pines and cedars to our lodge in Affaska.

Day 4 :Affaska - Gorges d'Anou - Akchour

The day starts with a beautiful hike in the heart of a dense forest of pines, arbutus, and Kermes oaks. The peaks of Jebel Lakraa (2159 m) and SfeihaTissouka (2038 m) accompany us to the gorges of the Fardawadi, from which we resume our descent through the gorges of Anou. Finally, we reach the spectacular natural arch nicknamed the "Pont de Dieu" before reaching the village of Ouslaf and the small dam of Akchour.

Day 5 :Talassemtane National Park - Rif Region

We go up to the village of Talambote, after which we take a path that winds between fields and villages. Finally, we reach the villages of Tajiniartre and Tamsasnoute before arriving in BeniMâla. Parc national de Talassemtane - Région du Rif

Day 6 :Beni Mâlaa - Oued Laou

For this last day of walking in the heart of the Talasemtane Natural Park, we cross the beautiful cork oak forest of Achacha, which offers a splendid and breathtaking view of the Mediterranean coast. Next, we descend slowly towards Wadi You, surrounded by fields of wheat, corn, and vegetable crops. Then the road to Tangier. Installation in the Josffine villa for 2 nights.
