1. JANUARY : Village of tachddirt

Located in the region of Marrakech-Safi, 7km from Imlil and 6km from Oukaimden, the small picturesque village of Tacheddirt is totally unknown to mass tourism. Fabulous cottages nestled in the mountains welcome the few visitors who venture into the area. The terraces all have panoramic views of the mountains. The landscape is all the more grandiose in winter when the peaks of the mountains are snow-covered. The village of Tacheddirt is also the starting point for several hiking trails offering breathtaking panoramas of the High Atlas Mountains.



2. FEBRUARY : IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF OUED AHANSAL

Nature lovers looking for an unusual experience in Morocco must absolutely discover this little piece of paradise. The nature bordering the Oued Ahansal becomes all the more majestic after the first rains of the season, a real paradise for hikers. The most popular hiking routes in this region are: THE CIRCUS OF TAGHIYA, THE CATHEDRAL OF IMSFRANE, THE BERBER PASSAGE and THE GORGES OF AHANSAL. Oued Ahansal is also an ideal site for kayaking and rafting.

3. MARCH : AIT BOUGUEMEZ, THE HAPPY VALLEY OF THE HIGH ATLAS

Under the benevolent gaze of the MGOUM, the giant of the Central High Atlas, extends the longest and largest valley of altitude of MOROCCO: THE VALLEY OF AIT BOUGUEMEZ. The valley is overlooked on all sides by several peaks exceeding 3000 m above sea level. Its generous nature stretches over 30KM and is home to 27 picturesque villages built of earth and stone. 4. APRIL : THE VILLAGE OF IMLIL

Located at the foot of the famous Toubkal in the High Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 1740 meters and 64 km from Marrakech, the village of Imlil is perhaps the prettiest village in Morocco. A few small mountain lodges warmly welcome passing birds. No matter where we look, the panorama is breathtaking. Imlil is the starting point for several hiking trails for all levels including of course the ascent of the highest peak in North Africa: Le Toubkal.

5. MAY : THE GREEN LAKE AGUELMAM AZEGUZA

To get off the beaten track even more and discover an authentic Morocco, head to the Berber lands of the Khénifra region. Lake Aguelmam Azegura is a real natural gem 30km from the city of KHÉNIFRA. Its location in the middle of the Middle Atlas cedar – the cedar of Ajdir Izayane – gives it a dazzling beauty and a very particular blue-green color. This unusual little corner in Morocco is also a real paradise for hiking lovers.

6. JUNE: CALA IRIS IN THE REGION OF EL HOCEIMA

Head to the north of the country this time to discover one of the most unusual beaches in Morocco! Cala Iris 50Km from AL HOCEIMA, is known for its paradisiacal beach and small islets accessible by swimming or boat. 7. JULY: DRAGON ISLAND IN DAKHLA

The bay of Dakhla in the extreme south of Morocco is one of the most exotic and magical places in Morocco. The meeting of the Sahara Desert with the Atlantic Ocean gave rise to geological curiosities and an extraordinary fauna and flora. Dragon Island is of extraordinary wild beauty. The white sand beaches and the gradients of turquoise water give this place the air of the Caribbean. 8. AUGUST: THE VILLAGE OF TIBOUDA

Located in the heart of the Cape of the Three Forks, the last frontier of Africa, and an hour's drive from the city of Nador, the small fishing village of Tibouda with Mediterranean charm is the ideal destination for travelers in search of serenity. To reach the wild beach of Tibouda, you have to follow the coastal paths to a staircase carved into the rock. 9. SEPTEMBER : THE VILLAGE OF AÏT AMERA

The village of Ait Amera is the place where the largest Moussem in Morocco is held every year: THE FESTIVAL OF THE FIANCÉS OF IMLCHIL. Near the village, there are also two beautiful lakes TISLITE AND ISLI, which became famous thanks to the legend of an impossible love between a boy from the Aït Brahim tribe and a girl from the Aït Ya'za tribe. A cultural experience full of colors and emotions that will certainly not leave you indifferent.

10. OCTOBER : OASIS OF FIGUIG

Located 5 hours from Oujda, the oasis of Figuig is one of the largest and most beautiful palm groves in Morocco. The village is also home to magnificent Ksars dating back 8 centuries, a cultural heritage still preserved from mass tourism. This unusual region in Morocco has preserved its authenticity, architecture and traditions and promises its visitors a timeless experience.

11. NOVEMBER: DESERT D'AGAFAY

About thirty kilometers south of Marrakech, extends a vast desert of stones: AGAFAY, an unusual place in Maorc that tourists are just beginning to discover. In the middle of this desert hides a surprising oasis nicknamed THE ENCHANTED OASIS. You can go horseback riding, camel riding or walking. Be sure to visit Lake Lalla Takerkoust not far away! 12. DECEMBER: TIGUELMAMINE LES LUNETTES DE L'ATLAS

Only 35 km from KHÉNIFRA, there is a surprising natural setting: THE TWIN LAKES OF TIGUELMAMINE which are also called the "glasses of the Atlas". This unusual natural site in Morocco has the advantage of being still very little known to tourists.
